Jonathan Peterson, M.D.

Dr. Jonathan Peterson is an orthopedic surgeon with fellowship training in arthritis treatment and joint replacement. He graduated Cum Laude with his Bachelor’s degree in Spanish, with a minor in Chemistry, from the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, UT. He then went to Medical School at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI where he graduated Cum Laude with a distinction in research. He completed his residency in Orthopedic Surgery at Duke University in Durham, NC.

He completed his fellowship in complex joint replacement surgery at the world’s largest medical center at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. He specializes in treating the full range of arthritis including partial and full joint replacements, revisions, resurfacing, and modern techniques including quick-recovery, muscle sparing approaches, personalized technology, and robotics. He grew up in the Salt Lake Valley and is happy to be back in his Mountain Home after receiving education and training at some of the top programs around the country. In his spare time, he enjoys fishing, golfing, cooking, and spending time with his wife and their two children.
