Dr. Michael V. Hoffman is a board certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in hip and knee replacement. He and his wife are originally from Utah and are the parents of ten children. He graduated from the University of Utah School of Medicine. He then earned a masters degree in Evaluative Clinical Sciences and completed an orthopedic residency at Dartmouth College in New Hampshire.
Dr. Hoffman returned to the University of Utah for a fellowship in adult hip and knee reconstruction. He specializes in direct anterior hip replacement, rapid recovery hip and knee replacement, complex hip and knee revision surgery, and trauma. For the past decade he has enjoyed serving patients at Susquehanna Health in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, performing several thousand hip and knee replacements. He also served as a Clinical Instructor for The Commonwealth Medical College.
Dr. Hoffman enjoys spending time with his family, especially outdoors. He is fluent in Spanish and has enjoyed traveling to developing countries as part of Operation Walk. He and his family are excited to be back in Utah. Dr Hoffman takes great satisfaction in providing the very best orthopedic care possible to his patients and is looking forward to serving you.
